Dear Customer,
We are excited to introduce our new range of FTK 1795 CNC (EN17950/FULL) full headforms with necks, specifically developed to fulfill the rigorous requirements of the EN 17950 regulatory standard for helmet impact testing.
Designed with a built-in seat for angular rate sensors, these headforms represent the perfect synergy between materials engineering and CNC geometric precision, ensuring maximum reliability when measuring both linear and rotational acceleration.
Key Features of the New System:
- CNC Geometry and Finishing: Surfaces are fully CNC machined for magnesium alloy models and directly finished from the mould for smaller sizes, keeping dimensional tolerance strictly under 0.5%.
- Advanced and Material Tuning: Engineered using high-grade AZ91 magnesium alloy (density of 1.78 kg/L) for sizes 530 to 630, and premium SG 2000 PU resin for lighter sizes 470 and 490.
- Controlled Friction Coating: Specialized surface coating applied to precisely achieve and maintain the strict friction values demanded by the official testing standard.
- Certified Inertial Properties: Moment of Inertia (MOI) and Center of Gravity (COG) are fully compliant with EN 17950 requirements, individually verified using an inertial torsional balance.
- Wireless Electronics Ready: Standardized weights per size already factor in the 6-axis accelerometer adapter, including onboard batteries and electronic components (ranging from 2.29 kg for size 470 up to 5.55 kg for size 630).
The complete series is now available in standardized sizes 470, 490, 530, 570, 610, and 630 to meet any certification and compliance need in your laboratory.
