The kit includes the following parts:
Holder with 2 ball bushings, made of Ergal 75, including a junction plate. This device is designed to be installed on the drop carriage used for free-fall tests on MAU 1006 and similar models (the drop carriage must be the two-part version).
- Sliding rod with penetration cone (different geometries available), with a total weight of 3 kg.
- Pivot-type holder for supporting headforms in a vertical position, for top-impact tests only. The headform (reference block) is made of wood or plastic (65 mm radius) and features a 30 mm alu. disc on top, which acts as a contact detector.
- Insulated base for the holders.
- Elongation brake with a driven sliding rod, to be fixed to item® aluminium profiles.
- Connecting cables between the steel rod, base, and contact detector.
- Control box with 220/24 V power supply, contact detector (flip-flop circuit), warning light (contact detected), and buzzer.
- Control box functions: ON/OFF switch and contact reset button.
- Customization: Headform holders can be supplied in various shapes to support different headform models.
