The kit includes the following parts:
Ergal 75 drop carriage equipped with 4 nylon guide blocks, designed for installation on twin-wire shock testing machines.
- Penetration cone (interchangeable geometries available), featuring a total assembly weight of 3 kg.
- Arc-shaped steel headform holder with a sliding support and a 40 mm diameter rod. This device enables multi-axis orientation of the headform (pitch, rotation, and tilt).
- Pivot-type headform holder to support the headform in a fixed vertical position, intended for top-impact tests only.
- Universal base compatible with both headform holders, equipped with an electrical insulation system.
- Connection cables linking the steel rod, the base, and the contact detector.
- Control unit (220/24 V power supply) featuring a contact detection circuit (flip-flop), a visual warning light, and an acoustic buzzer.
- Control panel functions: ON/OFF switch and contact reset button.
- Versatile design: Headform holders can be customized in shape to support various headform models.
- Applicable standards: Suitable for EN 397, EN 812, FMVSS 218 (DOT), FIA 8860, and equivalent testing methods.
