The kit includes the following parts:
Holder with 4 ball bushings made of Ergal 75, featuring a twin-rod system to prevent impactor rotation; includes a junction plate. This device is designed for installation on the drop carriage used for free-fall tests on MAU 1006 and similar models (requires the two-part drop carriage version).
- Kerbstone impactor mounted on the twin-rod driving system (total mass: 3 kg).
- Headform holder featuring a 50 mm dia steel rod, mounted on a 20 mm thick steel base with a headform fixing plate.
- Steel hemispherical headform (R70 mm for medium/large helmet testing) equipped with a sliding sensitive pivot.
- Extension brake with a guided sliding rod, designed to be secured to Item-brand aluminium structural profiles.
Optional accessories (recommended):
PCB quartz disc load cell, complete with cable and connector.
