FTK 1090 DOT
Cut headform cast from magnesium alloy, featuring a CNC polished FMVSS 218 (DOT) shape. Designed in sizes S-M-L, it includes a dedicated seat for a 2.75″ ball joint and clamp.
Technical data sheet :
- Standard: Magnesium alloy cut headforms compliant with FMVSS 218 (DOT) standard.
- Available Sizes: Small, Medium, Large.
- Material: Headforms cast using magnesium alloy AZ91 ingots, with a density of 1.8 kg/L, according to FMVSS 218 specifications.
- Machining: Headforms are machined internally to provide the mounting location for the 2.75” ball joint (69.85 mm diameter) and an M8 thread for clamp attachment.
- Finishing: Surface finishing entirely CNC machined.
- Tolerance: Dimensional tolerance under 1%.
- Weight: Standard weights are approximately 2 kg for Small (S), 3.5 kg for Medium (M), and 4.6 kg for Large (L), engineered to reach the total mass required by the standard when using a 1.5 kg monorail drop carriage.
